This player will shock everyone in his sophomore season. Ball security is job security, and this player didn’t fumble once throughout his tenure at Alabama. While being a part of the Crimson Tide, this player played behind Josh Jacobs and Najee Harris. This player's rookie season started off the worst way possible by getting shot twice in the leg in a carjacking in DC. In light of this horrible setback, he returned remarkably quick by coming out to “Many Men” in week 5. If you haven’t guessed it yet, Brian Robinson Jr will shock many with a breakout season this year.
In almost every run he had last year it took more than one defender to bring him down. BRob is a BUS and if it was up to me he would get every goal line rep this year. Although this relentless back has already shown glimpses of a seasoned vet, he hasn’t had any breakout runs or receptions. Last year, his longest carry was for 24 yards, and longest reception was for 18 yards. In order for him to get a seat at the table, he needs to bring out the utensils.
The dynamic we have this year with Antonio Gibson and BRob will be fun to watch. Hopefully AG channels his inner JD Mckissic and dominates on hitches and out-routes. This is how we made the playoffs with Alex Smith, by Logan Thomas and JD dominating the 5-10 yard gains.
